If you live on the water and own a PWC (personal watercraft), you can simply hop on your Kawasaki Jet Ski Drive On Dock, Sea-Doo, or Yamaha Wave Runner, push the start button, and ride away. A trailer may only be required for off-season storage. Simply beaching a PWC, or tying it to a dock or keeping it at anchor, is not a good long-term storage solution; any of these options will expose the PWC to undue wear and tear, and will cause you to worry about whether your watercraft is secure from theft, bad weather, or even sinking. Several PWC Floating Pontoon options offer both security and convenience.
PWC LIFTs
Like a more significant boat lift, a PWC lift sits next to a dock and
mechanically lifts the boat out of the water. The advantage of a PWC lift like
those offered by ShoreStation is that the boat is lifted entirely out of the
water so it is better protected during storms and remains free of marine growth
and corrosion on the pump and bottom of the hull. The elevator can also be
locked, making stealing the PWC a challenge. Most lifts can even be outfitted
with a canopy to protect the PWC from sun fading and bird droppings. Elevators
are available for more giant jet skis, and some models can accommodate two
personal watercraft. They can stand alone or be attached to the edge of a solid
spring. The winch that raises and lowers the berth that supports the boat can
be operated manually or with an electric motor. Electric models are available
with a solar-charged DC battery, eliminating the need for an AC power source at
the base.
To launch, simply lower the PWC into the water. When the ride is
finished, park the PWC in the bunks, walk onto the dock, and raise the jet ski.
An elevator is more complicated than a Floating Platform and may not be
feasible in areas with a high tide or the bottom sinks quickly. A riser is also
the most expensive PWC docking option, as it must be removed from the water
before freezing and reinstalled in the spring.
A PWC shoreline ramp is secured to shore and extends into the
water, useful when the shoreline is rocky and there is no space available for
the dock.
PWC SHORE RAMP
A shore ramp, such as the ones provided by Roll-N-Go, is moored
to the beach and extends into the sea. Simply snap the PWC into position at the
wet end of the ramp and pull it up the ramp with the winch, just like a boat
trailer with rollers or bunks and a winch. The ramp can be built on a rocky or
sandy beach and extended to work even when the water at the beach is shallow.
When there is no dock available, there is no place for a lift or storage space
on the Jet Ski Dock, or the water in the dock is too deep for a lift, a shore
ramp is a good solution. Using the shore ramp will require a bit of wading to
launch and recover, but it is much easier than a lift to get in and out of the
water when the seasons change. A shore ramp can also be attached to keep the
entire jet ski out of the water.
There are many different floating docks or ramps for PWC, but
all offer convenience for getting on and off. Do you want premium Marine Equipment Suppliers in UAE? Reach out

FLOATING SPRING PWC
PWC's floating dock system is the most user-friendly and gives
the most flexibility. These floating docks are commonly found in marinas and
rental equipment, where many of them can be linked together to accommodate a
full fleet of personal watercraft. When loading equipment onto the PWC or
maintaining, a floating dock provides a sturdy platform. All floating docks
feature non-slip surfaces to prevent you from slipping on a wet deck and most
can be combined with other dock components to create virtually any type of
design, be it a simple PWC Jet Boat Dock tied to an existing boardwalk, or a
whole docking system for several boats.
SportPort is one of the
most popular PWC floating docks sold by several companies. SportPort is an
unsinkable floating deck made of polyethylene with a foam core, with the top
half moulded to roughly match the shape of a jet ski hull. Most hull finishes
are not harmed by the material, and there are no moving parts that require
lubrication or can rust. The platform material is also cool to the touch. After
a ride, simply apply gas to your PWC and place it on the dock, where it will
stay put due to weight and friction. When it's time to launch, just lift and
push the bow into the water; it's usually quite easy to push. PWC pipes running
through openings secure the SportPort to any fixed structure, allowing the dock
to float and rise and fall with the tide or waves. Pipes can be attached to a
pier or boardwalk or driven to the seafloor.
